Philippine favorites influenced by Texas culture

This was a magical meal and I am so happy that I was able to experience the awesomeness that is the Odd Duck, Austin ☺

Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue and Tyson Cole of Uchi have merged their two loves of Asian and Texas cuisine together to create Loro. Having been able to visit both their respective places in the past I knew this was going to be a magical meal.

Smoking Barbecue is a form of art here in Texas that everyone takes very seriously and at Rollin Smoke it’s an art form.

I’ve been hearing a lot about Austin’s Domain District and the city’s new favorite watering hole and eating destination.

Texas Monthly has said that Franklin’s is serving the best barbecue in the known universe.
